Welcome to Waterloo Middle School!

Thank you for visiting our website! My name is Shannon Roberson, and I am thrilled to begin my ninth year as the principal of Waterloo School. It is an honor to be part of such a vibrant and dedicated school community.

Waterloo School is a unique and wonderful rural school serving 5th through 8th-grade students. At Waterloo, our students focus on building their skills, contributing positively to our community, and fostering a culture of kindness. Our dedicated teachers are committed to engaging and challenging students, inspiring them to become effective 21st-century learners.

This year marks my 26th year with Linden Unified School District. Throughout my career, I have served as a teacher, instructional coach, and site administrator. As I embark on my ninth year as Waterloo’s principal, I am continually reminded of how special this school is—thanks to the extraordinary students and staff who bring it to life. Together, we embrace a growth mindset, always seeking new ways to improve our school’s climate and culture.

As educational opportunities continue to expand, I am confident that our students will achieve remarkable accomplishments. The Waterloo staff is passionate, dedicated, and excited to help each child reach their full potential.
